I had a lovely visit and a wonderful book presentation.

As a new resident in Los Angeles, it's easy to get lost in the changes in lifestyle, environment, and culture. It's always nice to find ways of reconnecting with traditions that make you feel at home, or bring you back to your roots. Shabbat allows me a space of comfort and familiarity. I really enjoyed the Shabbat dinner last weekend. Everyone is very friendly and sweet. I was glad to be in a family-like setting full of Jewish energy.
